I am designing a map "Parks in Town XYZ". The map is to be printed on E-size paper, and published on the town's website as PDF.
I am debating whether the map should zoom to the extent of the areas of interest, i.e., parks, and leave out of the frame areas of the town with no parks, thus maximizing the use of the map canvas for the features of interest. Alternatively , the map could show full town extent.
