I found a tiled map on a wall near the west gate of the old town, and naturally I took a picture. Later it occurred to me that the tiles made it a convenient reference map for the Old Town, so I added labels to the grid and printed it.
By using grid codes you can roughly identify any location inside the walls. Thus the base of the Jummi Minaret is M5, Islam Khoja Minaret O4, and Kalta Minor L10.
FWIW, the town is 10 mins walk E-W and 20 mins N-S.

This is an American published map for England & Wales from c. 1820. A bit rough, but it's that complimentary text that tells a lot. That section on national character where the English are both "Ornaments of Human Nature" and "singulary arrogant and offensive"
